Skatehive Bounties let community members challenge others to land specific tricks for rewards. Post a bounty, and skaters compete to claim the prize!

🎯 Overview

Bounties are trick challenges with crypto rewards:

1. A sponsor posts a bounty with a trick and reward
2. Skaters submit video clips landing the trick
3. The sponsor picks winners and distributes rewards
4. Winners get paid in HIVE or HBD

📝 Creating a Bounty

Use the Bounty Composer to create a new bounty:

Required Fields

Field	Description	Example
Trick Name	The trick to land	"Kickflip frontside boardslide"
Reward Amount	Total prize in HIVE or HBD	"50 HIVE"
Deadline	When entries close	"Friday night" or "2024-12-31"

Posting Process

1. Click Create Bounty on the bounties page
2. Enter the trick name
3. Set the total reward amount
4. Choose the token (HIVE or HBD)
5. Set a deadline
6. Add optional description/rules
7. Click Publish

The bounty is posted as a Hive post in the Skatehive community with a special bounty tag.

🏆 Rewarding Winners

When the deadline passes, use the Bounty Rewarder to distribute prizes:

2. View submissions (replies with video clips)
3. Select 1-3 winners
4. Click Reward Winners

Reward Distribution

Rewards are split based on number of winners:

Winners	1st Place	2nd Place	3rd Place
1 winner	100%	-	-
2 winners	70%	30%	-
3 winners	50%	30%	20%

Example: 100 HIVE bounty with 3 winners:

• 1st: 50 HIVE
• 2nd: 30 HIVE
• 3rd: 20 HIVE

📤 Submitting to a Bounty

To enter a bounty:

1. Land the trick on camera
2. Open the bounty post
3. Reply with your video clip
4. Wait for the sponsor to pick winners

Tips for Submissions

• Film the trick clearly
• Include the full trick (setup to landing)
• One submission per entry (can submit multiple)
• Follow any rules in the bounty description

💰 Payment

Winners are paid directly via Hive transfers:

• HIVE or HBD depending on the bounty
• Sent to your Hive wallet
• Include memo referencing the bounty
